About Tai Hoe Hotel
A
pre-war house built during the early 1940s, Tai Hoe was orginally a
two storey 12-room hotel that caters to Chinese businessmen and the
occasional sailors. During the 2nd World War, the Japanese changed the
name of the hotel to the current TAI HOE, which means "The Great
Peace".
In
February 1994, the management decided to re-build the hotel to cater
to the increasing demand for budget accommodation. The new 6-storey
Tai Hoe re-opened in November 1995 with a total of 70 rooms. Tai Hoe
boasts modern facilities like, airconditioning, direct IDD calls, and
even internet access.
Providing
over 60 years of affordable accommodation, Tai Hoe continues to satisfy
our customers through excellent services at affordable prices.
